Happy New Year to all our competition entrants, signed authors, and interested followers. I hope this year is an exciting year for you as it will be for us.
Many of you have told me you are entering our competition. Please get your entries in soon. The closing date is January 31st. The standard of entries has been high and we will have trouble choosing a winner in a couple of categories. But we still need more manuscripts for all sections, especially the children's. Come on children's writers I know you are out there. Why not have a go. It is the first book that is the hardest to find a publisher for, increase your chances by having a published book to show.
Meanwhile, we have having success marketing our new book Gunnedah Hero. Our marketing campaign is heating up, now the silly season is behind us. It includes a blog tour for later in the month. Watch this space for a full list of blogs. You will learn much more about the fascinating author, Clancy Tucker. We are also holding our breath, waiting to hear from the film producer who is considering the story for a movie.
