Rosemary Coburn

Rosemary Coburn is a new author with a passion for writing for children.

She worked as a nurse but has written in many genres in her life: song lyrics, writing scripts for amateur movie makers, and various styles of poetry.

She has studied writing through many outlets and says the courses were very beneficial.

After retirement from nursing, more time became available. ‘Albeit more requests to be a childminder,’ she says.

More recently however, with an abiding interest in children’s literature, and a sense of what interests younger readers, she set out to produce The Legend of The Golden Swan, her first ever chapter book.
