Drawing on more than 40 years of experience as a primary school teacher, Robert has consistently used storytelling as a powerful teaching tool that effectively captures and maintains children's attention.

The teaching approach naturally evolved into his passion for children's literature. In his books, he crafts whimsical and humorous tales filled with clever wordplay and surprising twists, designed to engage both reluctant and enthusiastic young readers.
 
He has completed a Diploma of Professional Children’s Writing and has presented writing workshops for primary school aged children and the Hastings Literacy Festival.
