Lesly Leadbetter
Lesley Leadbetter grew up on a property in south-west Qld, worked city and country hospitals as a registered nurse/midwife, including flights with RFDS, and is now retired to Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
She sings in a choir, has learnt Latin-American dancing and danced in Carnivale in Brazil.
She is passionate about outback life, early Australian history and writing for children. Loves gardening, cooking, writing, sharing life experiences and being classified as “different”.
She has one son and one granddaughter.
