MALCOLM WELLS was born in the seaside town of Bournemouth on the south coast of England. From
the age of about ten, he became an avid reader of horror stories, which quite
disturbed his parents. He soon became interested in sci-fi and fantasy as well.
He began writing as a hobby, mostly short stories and poetry. He has had some of the stories published in magazines and some poetry published in anthologies. He tells us he was on the verge of having a novella published once, but the publisher wanted the ending changed. He refused and the story never made it to print. He says he learnt a valuable lesson from that, listen to people who know what they are talking about. To learn about Malcolm's debut novel, The Spires of Kurrong, follow this link to the book's page.
